What happened to the teenage actors?

When Whoopi Goldberg was placed in the Witness Protection Program in 1992, she played a comedian forced to live as a nun in a convent.

Goldberg gave a charming and heartfelt performance as Deloris Wilson (better known as her other personality, sister Mary Clarence), and the musical comedy Sister Act was a surprise hit.

In 1993’s Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, Goldberg and several other cast members worked together. In Sister Act 2, Deloris returns to the Catholic school she attended as a child to maintain her standing and reputation.

She tries to solve the problem by leading the school choir to victory at the All-State Choir Championship. While it didn’t get as many positive reviews as the original, fans still found the sequel entertaining.

With Sister Act 3 rumored to be in the works, this is the perfect moment to reminisce about Deloris’ time at the fictional St. Francis Academy and find out what Goldberg and the rest of the cast have been up to in the years since the episode.
