Prince Harry’s long-awaited diary finally seems to have a release date.

“After months of insane speculation, this book has a publication date: January 10, 2023, according to industry directors,” New York Times claimed in an article published on Wednesday.

The publisher of the book Penguin Random House and the representative of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle declined to comment on the matter.

Page Six previously reported that Harry, 38, was desperate to rewrite the book – which was originally scheduled for release in November – following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

Revenge author Tom Bower only told Page Six in October that the royals were “very upset” with the upcoming volume and called the book a “time bomb.”

“I think everyone knows the Sussexes can’t change the book in any way,” he explained. “Can they make it more nasty? Because otherwise we wouldn’t have gotten the sale.

Bower argued that the book “contains a chapter on [Queen’s] funeral.”

“And there will just be more material about how they have been disregarded and all the rest of the insults against the royal family,” he added. “So I think the delay will add that much to the poison, I think.”

Harry and Markle, 41, have also worked on a documentary for Netflix since they relinquished their royal duties and moving to California in 2020.

The deal was first announced in mid-2021 and has been described as an “intimate and heartfelt” memory of the son of King Charles III that will offer “a final account of the experiences, adventures, losses and life lessons that helped shape him.”

The father of two children said in a statement at the time that he wanted to create “a first-hand account of my life that is accurate and completely true.”

“I have worn a lot of hats over the years, literally and figuratively, and I hope by telling my story – ups and downs, mistakes, lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, We have more in common than we think Harry said.
