She dreamed a dream

Taylor Swift experienced a “nightmare” while auditioning for a role in the 2012 film adaptation of “Les Miserables” opposite one of her favorite actors, Eddie Redmayne.

“Basically I had two roles … I had Cosette’s looks and range, vocally, Eponine, so it was established that I was there for a good time but not for long – I wasn’t going to get the role”, Swift Mentioned during Friday’s episode of “The Graham Norton Show” where Redmayne joined her.

Swift, 32, explained that she was asked to travel to London for a screen test with Redmayne, which she admires very much.

“I thought,” This is not an experience that I will relive in my life, “so I said yes.

But it all got literally ugly for the singer “Anti-Hero” when she was forced to dress up as Eponine, with rotting teeth and so on.

The filmmakers decided Swift should wear “a full nineteenth-century street urchin costume,” and told her they would paint her teeth brown for the screen test.

I thought, “You’ll do this after I meet Eddie Redmayne, right?” … But no, they made me look like I was near death and it became a nightmare right away, ”said Swift.

She added, “When I met Eddie, I didn’t open my mouth to speak!”

Redmayne, 40, also recalled how he was scared off his stage because of how close he had to get to Swift, experiencing the unfortunate situation of bad breath.

“My overwhelming memory is that I had just been to Pizza Express before and had garlic dough balls before … and all I could think of was my garlic breath,” said the Fantastic Beasts actor.

“You cried and I thought it was because of my appearance,” Swift joked, adding, “Nice to hear we were both struggling at this point.”
