Dead drummer Kennedys DH Peligro died at age 63

Punk rock drummer DH Peligro, the cornerstone of Dead Kennedys, has died. He was 63 years old.

Peligro, whose name was Darren Henley, died Friday at his home in Los Angeles, the band announced in the Instagram post.

“Police on site said he died of a head injury from an accidental fall,” according to a post that said funeral arrangements would be announced “in the days to come.”

“Please respect family privacy at this difficult time. Thank you for your thoughts and words of comfort, ”we read in the post.

It is not known exactly what killed Peligro, according to TMZwho reported that the drummer was found dead in the bathroom of his San Fernando Valley home and struck his head – but it’s unclear if the injury was fatal.
