He admitted that his love of lifting weights had been beneficial to him in maintaining a healthy balance in both his physical and mental health. When he first started lifting weights for strength training, he was 20 years old. Bartise stated the following in an interview he gave in 2019:

“When I was 20 years old, I started lifting weights and I’ve been doing that for the past few years. The procedure started to fascinate me more and more. I am actually dependent on expanding my capacities, physically, psychologically or personally.
