Heidi Klum disguised as a worm at his 21st Annual Halloween Party at Sake No Hana at the new Lower East Side Moxy Hotel on Monday.
Klum turned out to be a real treat for her husband Tom Kaulitz, who disguised himself as a fisherman with a wormy wife strapped to the line.
“I tried to think outside the box and think of other things, and last year I thought, oh, a tree would be really cool, or like a plant, and then I kind of went from plant to earthworm,” he told reporters on the red carpet on Monday.
Klum said her costume, which took over 10 hours to complete, is definitely one of her favorites.
“It’s one of the best I would say just because it’s so extraordinary, so big and weird,” she said.
Despite this, the model admitted that it is not so easy to move around in an elaborate costume.
“It’s hard for me to move. I don’t really have arms or legs, ”she said. “When I fall over, I need someone to help me get up. I’m a bit stuck in this, you know? It’s a bit claustrophobic.
Before walking the blue carpet, Klum took to Amazon Live to film its preparation.
She also shared a nude photo of herself to show off her spray tan ahead of the spooky celebrations.
Other guests present at the annual spooky festival were Questlove, who was filming melodies for the festival, and Elon Musk, who arrived with his mum Maye Musk on his shoulder, as well as Ice-T and Coco, Antoni Porowski, Jonathan Van Ness, Kim Petras and Heather Graham.
Party goers enjoyed signature Baileys cocktails including Baileys Shakeado and Baileys S’mores Martini.
Klum has had some memorable Halloween costumes over the years.
In her second year, she threw a party, rode a real horse dressed as Lady Godiva, and in 2011 fans went crazy for her monkey costume.
In 2013, she dressed up as an old woman, and in 2014, she became delighted with the elaborate butterfly costume. In 2016, she caught attention when she arrived with five women disguised as her clones.
Her scariest look may have been in 2019, when she was unrecognizable as an alien zombie and it took 10 hours to create the creepy costume. And in 2018, she looked rough and regal as Princess Fiona from the movie “Shrek.”
The event, sponsored by Now Screaming x Prime Video and Baileys Irish Cream Liqueur, took place at the new Japanese restaurant Sake No Hana.
According to a press release, the model teamed up with Trick-Or-Treat @unicefusa to raise awareness of its annual Halloween campaign that raises money for needy children.
