Rapper Migos Takeoff dead at 28, shot in Houston: report

Member Migos Takeoff is reportedly dead at 28.

The rapper was shot and killed at a bowling alley in Texas early Tuesday morning while playing dice, according to TMZ.

At 2:40 a.m. the cops reportedly received a summons to a man shot at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston after an argument.

The person was pronounced dead on the spot, this Houston Police Department reports.

Lieutenant Salazar alleged there were 40 to 50 people in the bowling alley during the shooting, explaining that two other victims had been taken to nearby hospitals in private vehicles.

Although police have confirmed that Takeoff and Quavo were present, they have yet to identify the victims.

The recording obtained by TMZ seems to show Quavo at a bowling alley, where a record producer tries to move his nephew before he lays him down and calls out for help.

TMZ reports that the 31-year-old was not injured.

Quavo and Takeoff founded Migos in 2008 with Offset, which is Quavo’s cousin. Cardi B’s husband, 30, was not present at the shooting.

Fans of the Grammy-nominated rap group took to Twitter to share their heartbreak over Takeoff’s alleged death.

“I can’t imagine Migos without Takeoff and Quavo together,” wrote one social media user. “Was the family …”

Another added, “RIP Start. All he ever did was deliver hits and keep an eye on his own affairs. It’s not fair at all, man.

Earlier this month, Takeoff and Quavo talked about the possibility of continuing their careers without Offset.

“I just feel like we want to see our career as a duo, you know what I’m talking about?” Quavo said on “Big Facts” podcast.

“Because we just come from a loyal family … it should stick together,” he continued in an October 4 interview with DJ Scream. “Sometimes when shit hasn’t come out, it shouldn’t be like that.”

Takeoff added: “We don’t know all the answers. … Only time will tell. “
