Houston police confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday that Takeoff’s killer was still at large and pleaded with the audience to “grow stronger” with more information to help them.

“We are looking for any information at the moment,” Sgt. Michael Arrington, the lead investigator in the case, said. “We know the media has received a lot of phone calls, text messages, tweets, vines, videos. We all need to send them to us so that we can resolve this matter.

He added: “We want to find justice for this family. They’re going through a lot right now… Help us capture, get charges and arrest the person responsible for Takeoff’s death.

Police Chief Troy Finner added that he believed the suspects were guests at a private party that Takeoff attended at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston on Monday night.

– What if that was your brother? What if it was your son? Please come forward, ”he said in the message sent.

Boss Finner said he spoke to Takeoff’s relatives who called him a “quiet” man.

Sgt. Arrington confirmed, however, that there was disagreement behind the fatal shooting. The reason for the argument was not given.

Previous reports said a fight broke out after a game of dice.

Police confirmed Tuesday that at least two firearms were used and that Takeoff was already presumed dead when the cops showed up on the scene.

Chef Finner took a moment to praise the hip-hop community, stating that it was given a “bad name” because of the many rappers who have died in recent years.

“I know a lot of great people in our hip-hop community and I respect them,” he said.

“I’m calling everyone, all hip-hop artists, in Houston and across the country. We have to look after ourselves. We all have to stand together and make sure no one is destroying this industry. “

Sgt. Arrington also confirmed at a press conference that there were two other people who had themselves brought into local hospitals with “non-life threatening injuries”. They were a 23-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman.

“They’ll both be fine,” he added.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner also took a moment to speak and assured the public: “We will solve this case. We will find the shooter or shooters. “

Before the press conference, recordings of the aftermath of the shooting appeared online by TMZ.

Migos’ teammate Quavo was seen in the movie trying to deal with Takeoff, who appeared to be bloodied on the floor.

Police have not confirmed whether rapper “Bad and Boujee” is helping them solve the case.
