Aaron Carter’s fiancée, Melanie Martin, was photographed sobbing outside the singer’s house after news of his death at 34.
A 30-year-old model cried as she sat between a man and a woman who seemed to be comforting her.
Matin uploaded the video TikTok about her crying in the car shortly after news of Carter’s death spread.
She then followed this Instagram photo where she and Carter share a kiss with the words “I can’t breathe.”
She later shared a statement regarding the contractor’s departure.
“We are still in the process of accepting this unfortunate reality,” the statement read. “Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.”
The couple started dating in early 2020.
Less than two months after the relationship began, “I Want Candy” was written with Melissa’s name above his right eyebrow.
Following the breakups and reunions, the two got engaged in June 2020 after Martin was arrested for domestic violence and released from a $ 50,000 bond.
The couple welcomed a boy named Prince Lyric Carter on November 22 last year, but their bliss didn’t last long.
A few days later, Carter claimed on Instagram that he was “trapped” in his bedroom because Martin refused to leave the house. Earlier, Carter announced that they called it an ending because Martin allegedly communicated with his twin sister, Angel Carter.
Just three days earlier, Carter had stated on Instagram that he had been “trapped” in his bedroom because his ex (Martin) “would not leave my house.”
“My sister communicating with my ex-fiancé wrecked everything considering she knew what the angel was trying to do to me in court,” Carter says, adding in a separate tweet: “She knew my limits and especially didn’t talk to half of my family who tried to portray me as a crazy psychotic man and pedophile.
The two later met with Martin, claiming that Carter had broken her three ribs in a domestic dispute.
Last September, Carter revealed that Martin’s mother had temporary custody of Prince due to the couple’s domestic violence and concerns over drug use, and he was enrolling in a voluntary rehabilitation program to regain custody.
