Cardi B on the great “pain” and “sadness” after Takeoff’s death
[ad_1]
Cardi B wrote an emotional tribute to Takeoff following his “Celebration of Life” on Friday, revealing that he felt great “pain and sorrow” over his death.
“The impact you had in this world was so great that we struggled to capture this tragedy”, rapper “WAP”, 30 years, wrote in a long caption on Instagramnext to a slideshow of Takeoff’s photos.
“I am heartbroken, but thankful for all the precious memories we were able to share while you were here with us. It was a real nightmare and the pain is incomparable. “
Cardi B, who is married to Takeoff’s cousin Offseta, noticed that her husband and Quavo, who formed the rap group Migos with the late rapper, feel “emptied” so she prays for their “strength”.
“I believe angels send signs and beautiful dreams to loved ones to reassure them that they are watching them and that they are okay and happy… send mom some of these 🙏🏽” added rapper Bodak Yellow.
Cardi B also said she “hurts” to reflect on the impact Migos has on the music industry because she knows “it will never be the same again”.
“I will remember your extraordinary talent and your drug addiction personality,” concluded the mother of two.
“I pray that you will be in peace and paradise because you deserve everything. I know that God has opened the heavenly gates with a warm embrace. Rest in power. Start “I will love you too 4L and later.”
Several famous friends and fans of Cardi B sent their condolences in the comment section of the post, including Lizzo who wrote: “I still pray for you and your family, ❤️”.
Earlier this week, Cardi B mourned the death of Takeoff for the first time in public, retweeting a video in which he spoke about the importance of the family.
“It will also stay with me forever. I’ll never take it off, “said rapper” Bad and Boujee “in the ring clip, which featured a picture of him as a boy and his mom.
Takeoff, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot and killed in Houston on November 1 at the age of 28.
A coroner’s report released last week revealed that rapper “Walk It Talk It” was shot in the head and torso and died on the spot.
His killer is still at large, but police are actively investigating the fatal incident.
His wake, which Cardi B attended along with Offset and Quavo, was held in Atlanta on Thursday, followed by a celebrity funeral on Friday.
