Dead to Me Season 3 Explained: How Does Judy Die?

Dead to Me Season 3: How Does Judy Die? We talk about the popular character and her alleged death on the show.

The wait for Dead to Me’s next season has been prolonged, and the show’s Sopranos-inspired finale has generated significant controversy. Before the show’s shocking series finale, which faded to black, Judy’s cancer diagnosis and how Cardellini’s character left the show left viewers with no consolation. Let’s start!

Dead to Me: Judy’s cause of death

A doctor incorrectly told Jen that an X-ray earlier in the season revealed something malignant. Of course, we learn that the doctor thought he was talking to Judy. When Jen’s mother died of cancer as a teenager, she was quite devastated, and now she feels bad about her relief. As soon as Judy finds out about this, she makes an appointment with a cancer specialist. They run various tests and the results are dismal. Judy was diagnosed with cervical cancer. For comparison, the 5-year relative survival rate for cervical cancer when detected at an early stage is 92%. However, there is a 5% chance of survival if this disease spreads to “nearby tissues, organs, or regional lymph nodes” within that time.

When and where can you watch Dead to Me season 3?

Jen picks up her test results after chemotherapy. She can be seen immediately after rollerblading and having a great time on the stunning, sunny shores of Laguna Beach, leading audiences to believe this is good news. Of course, with life being short and Judy being given an incurable prognosis, we realized she was having fun.

In Dead to Me season 3, Judy uses Steve’s yacht to go out to sea so she can pass out on her terms. Jen never sees Judy again. Does Jen go out in the evenings to travel to enchanted and mysterious places? Does she plan to jump off the boat into the abyss and die? She’s left to her own imagination of how she’s going to die because we don’t know.

Especially with Jen, who drove Steve’s Mustang — the murder weapon that killed her husband Ted — back to America after leaving Mexico in tears.

Third and Final Season of Dead to Me Explained!

Judy was last seen by us the night before. In fact, we don’t even catch a glimpse of Judy steering Steve’s boat into the great ocean. Jen’s best friend is nowhere to be found and all that’s left is an empty pier. Nothing indicates that Jen has died until now. It’s only reasonable to assume that Judy will commit suicide soon.

However, we have a hypothesis. Could this all be a way for Judy to escape the Greeks and keep most of the money, especially since Judy’s mother has informed Jen that her daughter is constantly involved in a plot? When we last saw Eleanor, it seemed out of context that she was the one guarding her daughter. To start a new life with Steve’s money, I suggest that Judy sailed far away to meet her mother somewhere on the Mexican coast.
