Review of Under the Queen’s Umbrella

Queen Hwa-ryeong hasn’t had much opportunity since the first day to sigh with relief or take a vacation from her duties. Now that her present situation with her efforts to elevate Seong-nam has been handled, she will face a new challenge the following week when Grand Prince Muan (Yoon Sang-Hyun) seems pregnant with Cho-wol. Twitter was flooded with memes referencing the scene of Hwa-breakdown ryeong by the show’s audience.

The royal wedding of Crown Prince Seong-nam and Crown Princess Cheong-ha was the twelfth episode’s standout moment. Seongnam hesitates to believe Cheong-ha because she was previously identified as Queen Dowager’s pick. Although he has feelings for her, he is always on guard whenever his grandmother’s name is mentioned because of their unpleasant history. Following the disappointing reunion of the couple, many were heartbroken and tweeted on the blue app their sorrow.

The first impression provided by Under the Queen’s Umbrella is of a Queen who battles valiantly to protect her name and her offspring. She now has a justification for why she behaves in this way.

Raising the Crown Prince has been difficult for the Queen in and of itself. So that her children’s lessons are not questioned, she must honor her duties. She is the mother of five boys and successfully raises her eldest son, the New King. The other three of her four boys are exceedingly lazy and lack motivation.

She gets agitated trying to explain things to the other sons, so she starts badgering them. She still feels proud of the Supreme Leader, but until the day she discovers that a lack of blood brings on his condition.

The former Crown Prince also perished from the illness. Fearful of losing her child, she hunts for a remedy in whatever way she can. If the Supreme Leader dies, her standing in the court might be in danger.
