Kelly Rowland has doubled down on her support for Chris Brown, urging haters to show “mercy” and “forgiveness” to the scandal-plagued singer.

“I believe grace is very real and we all need a dose of it,” former Destiny’s Child member said TMZ on Monday. “Before we point the finger at anyone, we should realize how grateful we are for every moment we have, even our own.” [problems] that we have.

“I just think it’s important to remember to be human. We are people.

Rowland, 41, noted that “we all need forgiveness for everything we could have done, everything we think about.”

She concluded: “We are all missing in some way. And grace is real and we are all human. And everyone deserves grace. Period.”

The “Motivation” singer’s request comes a day after she made headlines when she silenced the audience who booed the 33-year-old Brown at the 2022 American Music Awards on Sunday.

Rowland, who accepted the award for Favorite Male R&B Artist on behalf of the “With You” performer, told the crowd: “Excuse me, chill out.”

She then called Brown an “amazing performer” before addressing him directly.

“Chris, thank you so much for making great R&B music,” Rowland said onstage. “I will take this award [and] bring it to you. I love you. Congratulations and congratulations to all nominees in this category.”

“I appreciate what Kelly Rowland has done. People will demonize a person as if they can never learn, change or grow,” one fan noted.

“I really can’t believe Kelly Rowland defended Chris Brown. Proud of the crowd for booing,” another wrote.

Brown, meanwhile, made headlines by shadowing the AMAs after his and Ciara Michael Jackson’s tribute was rejected.

The “Yeah 3x” singer posted a picture on Instagram showing 3.3 million viewers of the awards show compared to the nearly 12 million people who watched video of his rehearsal with Ciara, 37, on social media on Saturday.

“I’ll just leave this here,” he wrote.

Brown has been accused of violence against women on numerous occasions since pleading guilty to one crime, namely assaulting his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, in 2009.

Another former Brown, Karrueche Tran, obtained a five-year restraining order in 2017, claiming he punched her in the stomach and pushed her down the stairs, which he denied at the time.

Tran, 34, attended the Sunday show as a presenter.
