Power Rangers star Jason David Frank had a fight with his wife before he died

Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has reportedly died by suicide after allegedly getting into an argument with his estranged wife Tammie Frank on Saturday.

Tammie – who she filed for divorce from the actor in August – began feuding with Jason after they checked into two separate rooms at a hotel in Texas on Friday, law enforcement sources said TMZ.

Despite being in different rooms, the feuding couple allegedly argued in Tammie’s room that night, but the situation de-escalated after hotel staff got involved.

The selling point reports that the two got back into it just hours later, with Jason locking his estranged wife out of the room. Tammie then allegedly called the police to check on her ex around 5am on Saturday.

Page Six has reached out to Jason’s representative for comment.

As previously reported, the death of the actor followed confirmed for TMZ on Sunday. He was 49 years old.

Jason was best known for his role as Tommy Oliver – the original green and white ranger – in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

Later, Tammie took to Instagram to pay her respects to her estranged husband, whom she married in 2003.

“Losing my soul mate,” she said provided a series of photos shipped on Monday. “Jason, I can’t go on without you! You are my world! Yes, we had our struggles, like any marriage. But months ago, we both agreed it was worth saving.

“Deep conversations, sensitivity, forgiveness from both sides,” she continued. “I am deeply lost, hurt and completely destroyed. I lost my one true love. I’m your forever “firecracker” baby… until we’re together again 💔”.

Several of Jason’s former Power Rangers collaborators also reacted to the tragic news.

“He was an inspiration to so many people,” Walter Jones said in a statement. “His presence will be greatly missed. It’s so sad to lose another member of our Ranger family.”

Amy Jo Johnson, who also played Frank’s love interest as the Pink Ranger he was honored by a selfie via Instagram.

“Jase, you were beautiful and truly special,” she captioned the photo. “My life just won’t be the same without your crazy, hilarious, caring, motivated and creative ball of energy. I will always love you dear friend. Rest now in Peace…”

Prior to Tammie with whom he shares daughter Jenna, Frank was married to Shawna Frank from 1994 until their divorce in 2001. The two had three children: sons Hunter and Jacob and daughter Skye.
