‘RHOA’ actress Porsha Williams marries Simon Guobadia

Porsha Williams is a lady again!

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alumna wed Simon Guobadia in a traditional Nigerian law and custom ceremony at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta on Friday, People reported.

Williams, who described the day as “a true fashion extravaganza”, had three outfit changes.

For the ceremony, she donned an over-the-top, dark red princess-style wedding dress with feathers and gold embellishments by designer Lakimmy, as well as an okuku, a Benin beaded coral beaded headpiece.

It was the same dress that the 41-year-old reality TV star accidentally showed over 2,000 of her Instagram followers during a live stream earlier this month.

For the party, she changed into two different gowns by designer Tabik: one in royal blue and the other in gold.

The couple’s 250 guests – including several Bravolebrities – wore traditional or formal Nigerian-inspired attire in purple and turquoise.

The ceremony was led by a spokesperson from each of their families, while traditional Beninese singers and dancers performed. Guobadia, 57, comes from the city of Benin in Edo State, Nigeria.

Williams said at the party, she wanted attendees to feel like they “had taken a flight and landed in Benin” as the space was decorated with “beautiful colors of browns and rose gold, tans and creams.”

“The other thing I wanted was trees in the room,” she added. “Want[ed] to feel like an indoor/outdoor space, but luxurious.”

Williams and Guobadia also asked their guests to stay unplugged because they “want to[ed] people who want to be in the moment.”

While the Pursuit of Porsha writer was “adamant” that the event honored the businessman’s roots, she made sure the food included Southern staples such as “fried lobster, steak and cornbread.”

According to People, the lovebirds will say “yes” at the American celebration on Saturday night in front of 350 guests.

Friend “RHOA” alumni/stars Kandi Burruss, Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Cynthia Bailey, Drew Sidora and Monyetta Shaw are expected to attend the church ceremony followed by a prom and afterparty.

T.I. and wife Tina Harris are also on the guest list.

“This is our last marriage, okay? We belong together. That’s it,” said Williams, who was previously married to Kordell Stewart and engaged to Dennis McKinely. “It’s a blessing to be able to find your person. It doesn’t happen often.”

Williams and McKinley share a daughter, Pilar Jhena (“PJ”), 3, while Guobadia has five children – Quentin, Nicole, Christian, Benjamin and Ximena – from previous marriages.

The ‘Porsha’s Family Matters’ star said she was ‘absolutely’ open to adding a new husband to her family.

“I’ve always wanted four children, so it’s a blessing that he has three younger children who are home most of the time, and then I have my Pilar,” she said.

“But in terms of me being able to have a baby with him, I definitely want to explore it. I’m not sure how many that will cover, but I know for sure no more than two.”

The newlyweds got engaged in May 2021 after a month of dating. They met in the 13th season of “RHOA”, when Guobadia got married to cast “friend” Falynn Pina.
