Jamie Lynn Spears “blessed” that mom Lynne came into her life amid Britney’s hotel drama
Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated her mother’s 69th birthday following the incident at Britney Spears’ Chateau Marmont hotel.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful mom,” the 33-year-old “Zoey 101” alum wrote on her Instagram Story Saturday, alongside a photo of Lynne Spears with granddaughters Maddie, 15, and Ivey, 5.
“She has a childlike spirit that brings magic to everything she does, and we are so lucky to have her.”
Lynne apparently spent her birthday in Los Angeles, as she was seen arriving at LAX late Friday, according to a video obtained by the Daily Mail.
The mother avoided paparazzi as she went to meet her son, Bryan Spears, but she answered “yes” when asked if she would always be there for Britney, 42.
However, it is unclear whether Lynne spent her birthday with her eldest daughter.
Lynne’s West Coast trip came a day after paramedics were called to the “Toxic” singer’s hotel room after she allegedly got into a fight with her boyfriend, Paul Richard Soliz.
Photos from the scene show Britney covering her face with a pillow as she left the luxury hotel with Soliz present as first aid.
Page Six confirmed that the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the hotel after receiving a call about an injured woman, though details were unclear.
Sources told us: “Oops! The “I Did It Again” singer was not taken to hospital and was “safe” at home after the incident.
In headlines, Britney tried to deny reports of the fight, claiming she sprained her ankle while trying to “do a jump in the Chateau lounge” and fell.
“It is so bad. “Fucking idiot,” she said about herself.
The Grammy winner also claimed that paramedics showed up “illegally,” causing a “huge scene that was so unnecessary.”
“I just needed ice,” she added.
In the caption, the pop star also blamed her mom for her involvement in the drama, claiming she was “set up.”
“I know my mom was involved!!! I haven’t talked to her in 6 months and she called right after it happened, before the news broke!!!” Britney wrote.
“I was set up just like her a long time ago!!! I wish I had grandparents!!! I can’t stand her!!! I honestly don’t care, I’ll say it 👍🏻🤷🏼♀️!!”
Following Britney’s recent tirade, sources tell Page Six that she should have been placed on probation with her father, Jamie Spears, due to concerns about her mental health.
“I hate to say it, but the way it’s all happening is what we feared,” one source said, adding that they feared she had developed addictions.
Another source familiar with the #FreeBritney campaign said not all aspects of Britney’s conservatorship were flawed.
“There is no doubt that Jamie Spears is a defective father and the way Britney was hired in Vegas was terrible. This should never have happened,” a source told us.
“But there is also no doubt that the conservatorship – and the interventions that preceded it – happened for a reason, and not because her dad wanted to extort money in some nefarious way.”
“This was put in place because Britney has serious mental issues and has gone completely off track,” the insider concluded.
Britney’s 13-year conservatorship ended in November 2021 when a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge determined that it was “no longer needed.”
During this time, the Princess of Pop gained full control over her $63 million fortune for the first time in over a decade.
As she continues to enjoy her newfound freedom, there is concern that Britney will spend all her money on luxury getaways as sources say she “doesn’t know anything about money.”
