Tom Brady couldn’t come to terms with breaking up with pregnant Bridget Moynahan

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s breakup comes back to haunt him.

Nikki Glaser addressed the athlete’s 2006 split during her appearance on “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Netflix Sunday.

“Tom, you are the best that has ever played for too long. You retired, then you came back, then you retired, I understand,” the 39-year-old comedian said. “It’s hard to walk away from something that isn’t your pregnant girlfriend.”

She continued: “Honestly, he didn’t know. He just thought he was gaining weight.

In the comments, Glaser referred to Brady, 46, and Moynahan, 53, who shamefully called it quits before the actress found out she was pregnant with their now 16-year-old son, Jack.

Before news broke that she expected it, the seven-time Super Bowl winner moved on to Gisele Bündchen.

He then married the 43-year-old model and welcomed two more children – Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11 – before their divorce in 2022.

Bündchen looked back at Moynahan’s pregnancy in his memoir “Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life,” which hit shelves in 2018.

“I felt like my world had been turned upside down,” she recalls. “Needless to say, it wasn’t an easy time. But it was a time that brought so much development.

As for Moynahan, the “Blue Bloods” star, who is now married to Andrew Frankel, felt under surveillance by the press at the time.

“Being pregnant and having a baby are such personal, intimate moments,” she wrote in “Our Shoes, Our Me” in 2019, noting that public attention “felt like a threat.”

Since then, Moynahan and Brady have co-parented Jack, and their rollercoaster experience has influenced Bündchen’s strategies for raising Benjamin and Vivian after their split.

“We don’t play against each other,” she said he explained to Vanity Fair in March 2023. “We are a team and that is beautiful.”

The businesswoman regularly calls Jack her “extra child.”

Her relationship with Brady was also mentioned during the weekend roast, while Kevin Hart poked fun at her romance with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.
