Tom Brady appeared to be in great spirits when he was first seen following his Netflix comedy roast that “hurt” his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen.

The retired NFL star, 46, was in Venice, Italy, on Saturday to support his E1 racing team, which is scheduled to start on Sunday.

Brady, who became part owner of the team last year, was recorded in an online video throwing a football across the Grand Canal.

“It’s a long way,” he said before throwing the ball to Team Brady co-driver Emma Kimiläinen.

“The same thing will happen on Sunday,” he joked, referring to the upcoming race.

“It was amazing,” reacted 34-year-old Kimiläinen.

According to NBC4Last year, Brady joined a list of other celebrities, including Rafael Nadal, Didier Drogba and Sergio Pérez, who co-owned an electric boat rowing team.

“I am thrilled to join Rafael Nadal, Didier Drogba and Sergio Pérez, all great athletes who share the same desire to compete at the highest level and work together to help make the sailing industry more sustainable, create amazing events and especially win,” wrote Brady in a statement at the time.

“My message to our competition: get ready for second place because our goal is the top.”

The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback resurfaced earlier this week after being roasted in the Netflix comedy special “The Roast of Tom Brady.”

Brady often joked about his football career and his recent divorce from Bündchen.

Page Six previously reported that the 43-year-old supermodel was “hurt” on the show because of the comedians’ jokes about their previous marriage.

Sources close to Bündchen said she was upset by the jabs because she felt Brady had once again failed to put his family life ahead of his football career, which ultimately led to their divorce in October 2022.

A source close to the production also told Page Six that the mother of two, who has since started dating her jiu-jitsu coach, Joaquim Valente, “needs to gain a sense of humor.”

“It was all in good fun,” the insider said, adding that Brady wasn’t aware of the pranks beforehand, but jokes about his children were forbidden. (Brady has son Jack, 16, with ex Bridget Moynahan, son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11, of Bündchen.)

“As with any roast, neither Tom nor any of the participants knew what would be said about them,” the source added.

“But like any roast, they target the public parts of your life.”
