Lea Michele reveals the gender of her second child in a sweet Mother’s Day post

Lea Michele celebrated Mother’s Day on social media on Sunday by revealing the gender of her and husband Zanda Reich’s second child.

“Today is the most beautiful Mother’s Day. I hold my son who made me a mother… and I carry my daughter in my arms. 💕💐,” wrote the 37-year-old “Glee” alum. Instagram post.

The uplifting photo shows the “Funny Girl” star looking down at her blooming baby bump, which is visible under an unbuttoned white shirt.

To subtly signal the message, the pregnant actress can be seen holding a bouquet of pink roses.

The Emmy nominee later posted an adorable photo of her 3-year-old son, Ever, on her Instagram Story.

“And to my sweet boy who made me a mom…” she captioned a photo of herself holding her firstborn.

In March, Michele revealed that she was expecting her second child with husband Zandy Reich.

She shared the happy news on the website Instagram last week she wrote, “Mommy, daddy and Ever are overjoyed,” while sharing adorable photos from her pregnancy.

The “Scream Queens” star posed in a silky robe and white panties while cradling her baby bump.

Michele and Reich married in a ceremony in California in 2019 after two years of dating. For the occasion, the singer wore a strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier.

The toddler was hospitalized several times last year due to “terrifying” health problems.

In March 2023, Michele shared her son’s health concerns, apologizing to fans for not being on stage during her performance in the Broadway musical “Funny Girl.”

“I’m so sorry, but unfortunately I won’t be at @funnygirlbway today,” she captioned a photo of her with her hand on Ever’s shoulder. “We are in the hospital with our son who is dealing with a terrible health problem that I have to be here for.”

The following month, Ever was admitted to hospital for a second time for undisclosed health problems.

“These difficult times truly show what matters and is important in life and what we should be grateful for,” Michele wrote at the time. “It’s hard to say, but our boy is a great champion and everything will be fine. But it still hurts.”
