Patrick Mahomes supports Brittany at the Sports Illustrated event

Patrick Mahomes prides himself on being a plus.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback cheered on his wife, Brittany Mahomes, at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party on Thursday following teammate Harrison Butker’s controversial keynote speech.

Patrick, 28, posed on the red carpet in a black suit and matching sunglasses, accessorizing with a silver chain.

Brittany, also 28, stunned in a silver Oscar de la Renta gown.

The sheer gown featured floral patterns that hugged her body and then broke into sparkling strands that reached to the floor.

The former soccer player, who was named one of the magazine’s newcomers earlier this year, completed her look with metallic sandals and a small silver handbag.

“Brought a +1 to @si_swimsuit,” Brittany she captioned the loved-up photos on Instagramand Patrick gushed about how “proud” he felt his own post.

Instagram followers praised the athlete for being a “supportive husband” to his “hardworking wife” at an event in New York, joking that “Harrison Butker is shocked.”

The 28-year-old Chiefs player gained immense popularity after his May 11 speech at Benedictine College’s graduation ceremony, during which he told students that “homemaker” should be their “most important” role in life.

Patrick and Brittany have yet to comment on the sexist rant, which also featured lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Midnights” album.

Butker notably called the 34-year-old Grammy winner his “teammate.” [Travis Kelce’s] girl,” to quote “Bejeweled.”

The Georgia Tech graduate has been playing for the Missouri-based NFL team since 2017, joining the team the same year as Patrick.

QB he said on “The Pat McAfee Show” in February that he doesn’t talk to his teammate “all year long” and “just lets it go.”[s] let it do its thing.

“We sit next to each other in team meetings and I don’t say a word to him, only before the season and after the season,” he said at the time. “It’s the only time I talk to him.”

While Patrick has yet to address the scandal, former Chiefs star Mitch Schwartz’s wife, Brooke Schwartz, took to Instagram to slam the “The Handmaid’s Tale”-style speech.
