The Suffolk County Press Office confirmed to Page Six that the permit has been revoked and that the music festival is currently in high demand.

The source said the issues related to some questions the FAA had about the festival.

The insider added: “Most of the questions asked by the FAA were about the runway closure schedule since this is an active airport.”

Moreover, “They thought it was a two-day celebration, but it only lasts one day,” the source said.

“They have already addressed these questions and reapplied… This is a permit they have been giving consent to for the last two years,” the source insisted.

A spokesperson for the festival said: “We are thrilled to return to the Hamptons for a fourth time!”
