Ilana Glazer reveals she was shocked by how “horny” she was when she was pregnant with her daughter, who was born in July 2021.

“I was horny when I was pregnant,” she told Page Six at the premiere of her new movie Babes.

“I was very sick when I was pregnant for the first six months,” Glazer explained, “and sometimes sex was the only context in which I didn’t get sick. Women usually get horny because of the context, like dinner and lit candles, but the spontaneous, animalistic excitement that comes with pregnancy is crazy!”

It’s not just about a crazy libido.

Glazer recently told Scary Mommy that she wanted the film to openly address topics related to pregnancy and childbirth that society – and even filmmakers, who don’t usually enjoy a bit of gross-out humor – don’t like to talk about.

“In the birth scene in [Judd Apatow’s 2007 pregnancy romp ‘Knocked Up,’] Katherine Heigl’s “Vagina” is sex doll material, but it’s not [realistic child-birth features] . . . And this is our closest reference to our film,” she said.

No one tells you this, literally, until you’re on the table.

In the comedy, Glazer plays a woman who becomes pregnant after a one-night stand and turns to her best friend and mother of two for guidance and advice.

The “Broad City” actress, who also co-wrote the hit comedy, said she learned a lot about herself while making the film. “I found out what my options are,” she exclaimed. “I’m roomy as hell!”

The premiere was a family affair: she was joined on the red carpet by Glazer’s parents, brother Eliot and her husband, David Rooklin.
