Bethenny Frankel slams Chanel after being denied entry to the store



Bethenny Frankel complained about ultra-luxurious Chanel after the store allegedly refused to let her enter a Chicago retail location because she didn’t have an appointment.

“Real Housewives of New York” alumna. – she explained in a video posted on her Instagram On Wednesday, she showed up there on a whim but was immediately stopped at the door by a security guard.

“I say, ‘No, I don’t have an appointment. I have a credit card. I have a bag of Garrett’s popcorn and a regular bitch bag. Am I not allowed to come on Tuesday at 3:54 p.m.? Apparently not,” Frankel, 53, told her 3.4 million followers.

The former Bravolebrity admitted in her caption that “safety comes first” because “crime is always high,” but she felt the security guard’s behavior was “elitist and exclusionary” because she was wearing a “sweaty t-shirt.” [sic] and not dressed up or looking rich.

“In business, first impressions last. “I would never want anyone to feel inferior, especially for a luxury brand that makes billions off of people who fall for the hype,” she wrote.

The former reality star is a longtime customer of the luxury brand.

“Chanel is a beautiful brand offering timeless, classic clothes. Being nice to customers from all socioeconomic backgrounds is also timeless and classic.”

Representatives for Chanel did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

Frankel is a long-time customer of the haute couture brand and has previously shown off her creations online and at high-profile events.

Fans even mocked the Skinnygirl founder last summer when she proudly showed off her $20,000 Chanel birdcage bag.

“Okay, as much as I love Chanel, this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. come on, even for Chanel it’s stupid,” wrote one commentator.

Just last month, Frankel paired her two dogs with denim sets and added accessories: Chanel quilted handbag (currently sold out).

“POV: You invite a creator to lunch and accidentally match your dogs…” she captioned the post, referencing her meeting with model Tyshon Lawrence, who also appeared in the slide.
