“I f— king, I don’t think so.”
Demi Moore aptly described the troublemaker at Thursday’s star-studded amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala in Cannes in Cap d’Antibes, France.
The 61-year-old “Ghost” actress took the stage portraying 78-year-old world icon Cher, delivering a dazzling tribute when a person at the back of the Hotel du Cap, in the Eden Roc auditorium, seemingly interrupted her speech.
In the film shared on X performed by Vanity Fair’s Ramin Setoodeh, Moore can be seen holding the microphone and telling the audience, “Let me see if this is the moment we’ve all been waiting for.”
After a few faint cheers from the audience, the “Indecent Proposal” star continued, “I’m just making sure you’re really, really with me.”
“Because this amazing woman I’m about to introduce is a Grammy winner, an Oscar winner, and an Emmy winner.”
However, the “Disclosure” actress heard a comment from someone in the audience, which made her stop for a brief moment.
“Are you an Emmy winner over there in the back of the room? I fucking don’t think so,” she told the unidentified guest.
It is unclear what sparked Moore’s ire.
The tongue-in-cheek comment drew laughter and cheers from the audience as Moore continued to bring the “Believe” hitmaker to the stage.
“She is a style icon and my personal hair inspiration. She was honored by amfAR with an inspiration award in 2015,” she said.
“The bottom line is that she is one of the most talented, successful and most beloved artists of all time.”
“So please give a warm welcome to the amazing, one and only Cher,” added Moore, whose film “The Substance” caused a stir at Cannes.

Some of the world’s biggest stars descended on France’s Rivera this week for the Cannes Film Festival.
Michelle Yeoh, Heidi Klum, Kelly Rowland, Andie MacDowell, Diane Kruger and Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, were among some of the stars attending the 30th annual amfAR gala, which raises money for AIDS research.
Earlier this week, Rowland had her own moment of sharp rebuke when she apparently argued with a security guard on the red carpet.
She has since spoken out about the heated exchange, saying she was happy to “stand up.” [her] ground.”
“This woman knows what happened. I know what happened,” she said during Thursday’s gala. “I have a boundary and I stick to it.”
“There were other women who frequented this carpet who didn’t quite look like me and weren’t scolded or pushed or told to get off,” Rowland continued. “I had my way and she felt like she had to get her way. But I stood my ground.”
