Sean “Diddy” Combs believes that the video of him beating up then-girlfriend Cassie, a member of his inner circle, “doesn’t tell the full story of what happened.” says The Post..

“He’s furious. Especially when it comes to video. He argues that this does not tell the full story of events. Not that he’s justifying it, but he says it’s the film of choice,” the source said.

“It is his position that there was a plan to release the film upon its release,” the insider continues.

“But ultimately he knows his biggest concern is the raids on his home; Cassie’s video is just a distraction.”

In a disturbing video published by CNN on May 19, the 54-year-old Bad Boy Records founder can be seen attacking Cassie – born Casandra Ventura – in March 2016.

In the video, Combs chased the 37-year-old “Me & U” singer down the hallway of the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles while wearing a towel around his waist.

An insider told The Post that the rapper believed “there was a purpose for releasing the video when it was released.” CNN

When Cassie tried to get on the elevator and leave, her then-boyfriend grabbed her by the neck and threw her to the floor.

As the singer lay motionless on the floor, Combs kicked her and dragged her down the hall by her sweatshirt.

He also threw a glass vase at Cassie while she was cornered in the hallway.
