Sophia Bush shuts down Ashlyn Harris’s engagement rumors after taking pictures

Sophia Bush isn’t walking down the aisle again just yet.

The “One Tree Hill” alum, 41, took to her Instagram Story on Saturday to delete engagement rumors after PDA-packed photos from her trip to Paris with girlfriend Ashlyn Harris led fans to speculate that they had taken their relationship to the next level.

Some believed Bush was strategically hiding her jewelry when she put her left hand under the former footballer’s jacket as they posed in front of the Eiffel Tower.

“I heard the internet is going crazy?” the actress later wrote in a selfie in which she showed a peace sign while revealing her bare ring finger.

“Everyone… I don’t have any ‘news’ for you,” she added, before explaining the couple’s heartwarming moment.

– If you could, wouldn’t you put your hands all over her jacket? Bush continued.

“To be clear, you can’t, because it’s borders,” she joked. “But I will still do it for you because I am just generous.”

She also reposted one of the photos, adding: “I just want to squeeze her.

“I understand that this is something new for all of you, seeing me so happy and embodied. This is also new for me. How lucky am I?”

Back in April, the “Chicago PD” alum expressed a similar sentiment when she gushed about falling in love with Harris, 38.

In an essay for Glamor, the actress admitted that she has no intention of looking for love, still mourning her divorce from Grant Hughes, to whom she was married for just a year.

“I don’t know how to say it other than: I didn’t see it until I saw it,” the “John Tucker Must Die” star wrote. “And I think it’s very easy to not see something that’s been in front of you for a long time, when you’ve never looked at it as an option and you’ve never been looked at as an option.”

Bush and Harris made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner later this month, coordinating black looks by Harbison.

Harris, who filed for divorce from Ali Krieger in October 2023, has denied allegations of infidelity that surfaced after the couple went public last year.

Earlier this week, Page Six reported that Krieger secretly filed for divorce three months after Harris, claiming her ex “improperly” filed the paperwork.

Court documents show that she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

They have two children: 3-year-old daughter Sloane and 1-year-old son Ocean, whom they welcomed through adoption.
