Brittany Cartwright hints at deeper marital problems after Jax Taylor dates model Paige Woolen

Brittany Cartwright is hinting that deeper marital issues at home contributed to her split from estranged husband Jax Taylor – after the latter performed with model Paige Woolen.

On Sunday, Cartwright, 35, shared her story on Instagram Reel posted by @YouKnowNatin which the influencer’s friend criticizes Taylor, 44, for the way he treats his wife on Bravo’s reality show “The Valley.”

“Thank you and imagine what I went through behind closed doors,” Cartwright wrote under the clip.

The person featured in the clip was particularly concerned that Taylor complained about Cartwright being sick during a cast trip to Big Bear, California during last week’s episode of the unscripted series.

The owner of Jax’s Studio City blamed her nausea on excessive drinking and suggested that she had a long-term problem with alcohol, although several of her castmates confirmed that she had not drank alcohol before vomiting.

“Like, it’s his show and it’s supposed to be about his bar and his community and his friends, and he brought his family on this show and that’s what he’s doing to them? For example, he decides to present her in this light and treat her this way,” said the person in the recording.

“This is what he does to her in front of everyone.”

Cartwright eventually snapped at Taylor, scolding him for verbally attacking her in front of the group, but the duo reconciled the next day.

@YouKnowNat Reel theorized that Taylor invited Cartwright on the show knowing that their relationship would end soon.

“To put her on this show and treat her like that, he knew he would leave her, he knew it was over and he knew it would be good television and he wouldn’t be punished by the people around him, the producers,” she said.

“If it’s good TV, it’s on. What a terrible situation for her. Of course he doesn’t feel well.

Meanwhile, the person in the recording surmised that Cartwright’s seizures were due to the stress of her relationship with Taylor.

“I think she’s sick all the time because she’s treated so terribly, she’s in a bad relationship and she knows there’s nothing she can do to make it better,” she said.

Cartwright signed off the message at a time when romance appears to be brewing between the ‘Vanderpump Rules’ OG and OnlyFans creator Woolen, 32, who were seen grabbing lunch at the Granville Cafe in Los Angeles on Saturday, where they spent three hours together.

Cartwright and Taylor, who have a 2-year-old son, Cruz, announced their separation in February after five years of marriage.

The mother of one – who is currently not known to be dating anyone – revealed during an April appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that a “terrible fight” prompted her split from Taylor.

“It was like a curtain was lifted and I noticed that everything was wrong,” she said. “They always say a woman can reach a breaking point and it’s hard to get back up.”

A month earlier, Cartwright told Page Six exclusively that Taylor’s lack of interest in sex didn’t help.

“We’ve been together for nine years and after a while people stop appreciating you and taking you for granted – and that should never happen in a marriage,” she explained at the time.
