Spencer Pratt wants abs like Kristin Cavallari’s boyfriend and won’t use Ozempic to lose weight

Spencer Pratt craves abs like Kristin Cavallari’s 24-year-old boyfriend Mark Estes, but he’s not turning to Ozempic as he begins his new fitness journey.

“I don’t judge anyone who wants to do this,” the 40-year-old Hills alum says on Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast, while promoting his partnership with Hydroxycut.

“But in person [I wouldn’t]– he continues, referring to the fashionable weight loss drug. “You start adding needles, doctors, everything, and insurance, instead of something like I take two [capsules of]it has vitamins in it [and gives me] a little boost of energy.”

Pratt, whose fraud attempts began earlier this month, gave himself a total of six weeks to carve out a TikTok-worthy middle section by July 4.

“I’m inspired by fame and the fact that these guys, with all due respect, don’t sing, don’t really dance, and just… have abs and go viral?” talks about the social media success that Estes and his equally fragmented Montana Boyz members have enjoyed.

“Yes, they are young and maybe handsome, but there is a niche for them [market] for old, non-dancing, non-singing guys with abs,” Pratt explains, “and I’m going to achieve that to fit the entire timeline.”

Ozempic, an FDA-approved prescription drug, is one of the brands of semaglutide – also known as Wegovy – which affects the brain to keep you feeling full and suppress appetite.

Many public figures have admitted to taking versions of semaglutide for its weight loss effects. Kelly Clarkson recently confirmed that her new slim figure is the result of weight loss medication after months of speculation.

Oprah Winfrey, whose headline-grabbing weight loss was the result of using weight-loss drugs, endorses methods that help break down the stigmas surrounding her.

“The fact that there is a medically approved formula to manage my weight and stay healthy throughout my life is like a relief, like redemption, like a gift, not something to hide behind and be made fun of again” – media mogul, 70, he told People in December 2023

“I’m tired of being shamed by other people, especially myself.”

Still, Pratt isn’t interested.

“I have friends who took it and it didn’t help. They say, ‘I still have an appetite,'” he says, then jokes: “I’m not trying to make an Ozempic face. I’m not trying to be on Page Six and come out of some place and be corny and look like Skeletor [and] terrifying.”

The reality TV veteran raves that Hydroxycut — whose main ingredient is C. canephora Robusta, a non-stimulating compound found in green coffee that metabolizes carbohydrates, fats and proteins along with vitamin B — is “the right choice” for him.

Additionally, Pratt was inspired by his wife, Heidi Montag, who, as the face of a supplement brand, used Hydroxycut to help herself lose 22 pounds.

“It’s a huge motivation when your wife has a six-pack and you can’t fit into any tight jeans and can only wear clothes with elastic waistbands,” he says with a laugh.

“Heidi is obviously torn at the moment and I’m spinning around, not where you want me to be.”

Before this year, when Cavallari, a former castmate of Pratt and Montag’s “Hills,” began dating Estes — who often flaunts his muscular physique online — the Pratt Daddy Crystals founder gravitated towards the dad bod trend.

“For a second I thought daddy bodies were involved, so I leaned on that. Everyone was like, “Dads’ dicks are hot!” So I ate as much food as possible to be the face of daddy,” says the dad-of-two, who shares sons Gunner, six, and Ryker, 18 months, with Montag, 37.

“And suddenly these guys from Montana were like, ‘Look how messed up they are.’”

Montag tells “Virtual Reali-Tea” that she is attracted to Pratt regardless of his size, but notices that his self-esteem skyrockets when he prioritizes his health.

“I obviously think Spencer looks great no matter what,” says the “I’ll Do It” singer, who married the “Speidi’s 16th Minute” podcast co-host in 2008.

“But this is what I love [him] being robbed doesn’t just boost Spencer’s self-confidence – because he’s always been in really good shape and health, and I can tell it makes him feel better – but [he is] also a good role model for our sons so that they can take care of their bodies, eat healthily and effectively [them]”Let’s make healthy choices here.”
