Mike Tyson speaks out for the first time since suffering a medical emergency during a flight

Mike Tyson is ready to kick ass after suffering an in-flight medical emergency this weekend.
“Now I feel 100% ready, although I don’t have to beat Jake Paul” – professional boxer (57) wrote on X on Tuesday, referring to his scheduled fight with the YouTube star.
Tyson was flying from Miami to Los Angeles when he “became nauseous and dizzy due to a flare-up of his ulcer 30 minutes before landing,” his representative told Page Six on Monday.
The spokesman added that Tyson is “feeling great” after receiving appropriate medical attention and is “grateful to the medical staff who helped him.”
The rep also shut up reports that a medical panic caused a delay before takeoff, and the congestion was attributed to “a problem with the plane’s air conditioning.”
Tyson, who retired from boxing in 2005, was expected to return to the ring next month’s highly publicized fight with Paul.
Tyson’s latest update on X confirms that the social media star-turned-boxer is denying that their fight will be canceled due to a medical episode.
“You love to make things up before you know the facts about clicks/likes. Nothing has changed #PaulTyson” – Paul wrote on X on Monday.
The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

“It was obvious,” Tyson said during a news conference earlier this month. “He’s a new, rising guy on the scene. I like to shake the sports world to its core and I’m doing it now. It’s just something I want to do.”
“No one else can do this,” he added. “Who else can shut down the sports world? Nobody else can do this.”
Paul, 27, called the upcoming match “literally the biggest fight of the 21st century.”
“Because it’s Mike Tyson versus me, but also because it’s in 700 million households,” Paul boasted.
Logan Paul’s younger brother said he thinks Tyson “underestimates” his abilities and so does “everyone else.”
“I’m a born heavyweight,” Jake said. “I’ll show Mike who has more power.”
