Michael Cohen is considering running for Congress after the Trump trial

Cohen – a key prosecution witness in the case against Trump – was called “GLOAT” in court on Tuesday by Trump’s lawyers. “He is literally the biggest liar of all time,” Trump lawyer Todd Blanche told the jury as the case came to a close.

But over the weekend in the Hamptons, Cohen was the talk of the town.

The spy told us that the ex-con was seen “three days in a row” eating lunch at 75 Main and that he was overheard saying he “wanted to run for Congress.”

Apparently, at one Hamptons party, the New York celebrity was overheard telling Cohen, “If you run, I’ll be your first huge check… I could raise millions for you.”

On Friday night, Cohen was seen at Bistro Été in Water Mill, where he was greeted by Jimmy Fallon, who was dining with his wife, film producer Nancy Juvonen.

Cohen’s Hamptons tour didn’t end there.

We hear he was also spotted Saturday night at Le Bilboquet in Sag Harbor, where guests also included real estate mogul Howard Lorber and Fanatics founder Michael Rubin.

Another source told us that over the holiday weekend, “Cohen strutted around the Hamptons like he was the biggest star.”

The source added: “Cohen has hinted that he will write another book once the trial is resolved from his point of view.” The source hypothesized: “Cohen is clearly enjoying every minute of his fame and infamy now that he’s off the stage.”

The insider said that on Long Island’s East End, “half the people say he’s a delusional liar and the rest say he’s saving America from Trump. Everyone has an opinion on it, and Cohen was everywhere this weekend.”

At a private party in the area, “Cohen was constantly approached by fans of his court appearance… People were overheard telling him to ‘be strong’ and thanking him for ‘telling the truth,'” the source said.

The insider added: “He lit up like a Christmas tree when strangers came up to him and wanted to shake his hand. He got up and talked to people and was treated like a star. He parades around like he doesn’t care and he’s very proud of himself.”

A source said: “It was kind of weird seeing him marching around smiling and acting like he just won an Oscar.”
