After 27 years of marriage, Microsoft founder Bill Gates and his wife Melinda Gates announced their divorce on Tuesday, 4 May 2021. They both informed about it on their Twitter account to their followers. The news given a shock to everybody and make a fuss in between people, rumors are speculating that the reason for their divorce was Bill’s ex-Girlfriend Ann Winblad.
They post a joint statement on Twitter that read, “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage.” The pair also announced in their joint statement, “We continue to share a belief in
that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives.”
