Ebony Obsidian is an America-based model and actress. She is popular for several acting projects such as the television series “Sistas” in 2019. She portrays the role of Karen in the series. Oscar-nominated film If Beale Street Could Talk (2018), and her role in the YouTube series “Tough Love” also gain a huge number of audiences and appreciation.
Ebony Obsidian Early Life :
Ebony was born in New Paltz, New York, U.S. on April 16, 1994. She is of African American ethnicity. In her younger age as other children, she was also involved in multitalented things like singing, writing, and acting. She does not think about acting as her career to pursue later in life. But at the age of twelve once she was listening to a radio station and they had informed her about an acting audition. Ebony wanted to give it a try and went for an audition and performed a monologue in front of 1000 people.
Education
Ebony went to high school and after a gap, she decided to do a bachelor’s degree, later went majoring in journalism. But soon, she had a realization that she can’t have that much interest in it.
For majoring she was doing three jobs for paying her college fees.
Later, she decided to follow her passion for acting and enroll herself in The William Esper Studio, a drama school in New York City, she completed her master’s in Meisner technique.

- Ebony entered the entertainment industry with the film ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’ in 2014. Later, she got a chance to perform in independent films The Vixens (2015) and Where Hearts Lie (2016).
- Next, she gained her breakthrough American film, a romantic drama ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ in 2019 in which she portrayed the role, Adrienne Hunt.
