A new private club opens 100 stories on Billionaire’s Row
Talk about maintaining 100.
Another private club opened in New York – on the 100th floor of a luxury skyscraper.
Central Park Tower is located along the so-called Row Billionaire’s, which has a record-breaking penthouse for sale $ 250 million – On Thursday, they opened the door to the 100th floor site from a source telling us that they had spotted Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi, Dennis Basso and Naeem Khan in a blow from Extell’s Gary Barnett.
Celebrity Event Planner Colin Cowie – who has hosted events for Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey and Kim Kardashian – works as a ‘lifestyle specialist’ and event planner in a new exclusive space serving dishes from top chefs: Alfred Portale, Laurent Tourondel and Gabriel Kreuther.
“Our menu changes every three months, our recipes come directly from these extraordinary chefs,” Cowie explained, welcoming guests who tasted dishes like “tuna and caviar in a pie egg”, foie gras duck and cod.
The full orchestra and harpist had fun while the performer sang “Hamilton” melodies.
In the space, known as the Central Park Club, there is a restaurant, a ballroom, a wine bar and a cigar lounge. There is also an indoor and outdoor swimming pool.
The building’s occupants are automatically members – and a supposedly select group of business, media, finance, fashion and Hollywood titans has been invited to join by Jane Sarkin of Boldface Partners and Matt Ullian, who are curating the list.
The space begins accepting dinner reservations on October 3 and opens on October 18.
It’s just the newest in a range of newly opened private clubs in the city – including the celebrity favorite The Ned, the ultra-exclusive Aman, mayor Eric Adam’s Zero Bond hangout, the chic Chapel Bar and the glamorous Casa Cipriani.
