Aaron Carter’s complicated relationship with brother Nick, the sisters
Aaron Carter had a tumultuous relationship with several of his siblings, including Nick Carter, before the singer’s death on November 5.
The brothers, who were born three years apart, toured together for many years in the 1990s and early years, and Aaron often sang as support for Backstreet Boys.
While Aaron did not attend his older sibling’s April 2014 wedding to Lauren Kitt, the siblings celebrated the holiday together and supported each other via social media.
However, in September 2019, Nick and his sister Angel Carter filed a restraining order against Aaron, which was granted two months later.
A 42-year-old member of the Backstreet Boys claimed that Aaron pleaded guilty to “inhabiting the intentions” to kill Nick’s pregnant wife and their unborn child.
“After careful consideration, my sister Angel and I wish we had to seek a ban on approaching our brother Aaron today,” Nick wrote then on Twitter.
“In light of Aaron’s increasingly disturbing behavior… we had no choice but to take all possible measures to protect ourselves and our family.
“We love our brother and sincerely hope he will receive the treatment he needs before any harm is done to him or anyone else,” concluded Nick.

“I haven’t even seen you and you haven’t tormented me all my life,” he claimed. “And he tortured me as a child. And everyone knows it. IT WAS PUBLIC. and now you are afraid of the truth. “
Aaron also had a strained relationship with his sister Leslie Carter who … died of a drug overdose in 2012 at the age of 25.
In 2019, the actor accused his deceased siblings of sexual abuse for three years.
“It runs in the family. I never wanted to tell anyone about it. But I also have [sic]… ”Aaron claimed in a series of tweets. “My sister Leslie suffered from bipolar disorder and was taking lithium to treat it. She never liked how she felt in it, and when she was out of it she did things she never intended to do, I really believe it. … My sister raped me between the ages of 10 and 13 when I was off medication. “
He claimed: “I have been used [sic] not only sexually by her, but also by my first two reserve dancers when I was 8. And my brother took advantage of [sic] all my life”.
Earlier this year, the performer of “I Want Candy” had a huge blue butterfly tattoo on his forehead in honor of Leslie.
“Every time I see a blue butterfly … she loved blue, it was her favorite color,” he wrote via Instagram in March. “She had the most beautiful ice blue eyes in the world.”
The news of Aaron’s death appeared on November 5. The 34-year-old’s body was found in a bathtub at his home in California. He left a son, Prince.
