Looks like Adele wants to add a “college graduate” to her glossy CV.
34-year-old blockbuster “Easy On Me” has revealed that she is focused on education after completing her highly anticipated and rescheduled residency in Las Vegas.
Adele’s residency will begin on November 18, according to a press release, and eight new appearances have been added to the list of 24 postponed performances.
And when she was done, the only child teased that she would study English Literature.
Speaking during questions and answers from fans in Los Angeles as seen by Sunthe singer said she would complete an online course to get her diploma after dreaming of going to university when she had the chance.
“After Vegas, I really want to get a degree in English Literature,” she reportedly said at a panel. “If I hadn’t achieved it in singing, I think I would definitely be a teacher. I think I would be an English teacher.
“I definitely feel that I use my passion for the English language in what I do. But while it’s not like I would get a job after graduation, I wish I had gone to university, I wish I had such an experience. “
“I will not go to university, I will do it online and with a tutor, but that is my plan for 2025. It’s just getting qualified,” she added.
Page Six contacted Adele representatives for further comments.
Adele’s residence will run until March 25, 2023. A selected number of tickets are available for 32 performances. Priority will be given to fans who previously had tickets for the original concert dates or who registered and were placed on the waiting list.
The shows were due to start on Friday, January 21 and run through mid-April, but were canceled earlier this year due to COVID-19 delays. In a teary Instagram post, Adele told fans about the delay and apologized in gibberish.
