Is Adelisa Murtovic Murder Suspect Antoine Sims Arrested Again?
Yes, Antoine Sims, the suspect in the 2018 murder of Adelis Muratovic, was taken into custody once more. When he was seen getting into a fight at McDonald’s over fries, the police made the arrest.
Muratovic was reportedly killed in 2018 while riding in Smith’s car’s passenger seat, according to authorities.
Adelisa Muratovic, then 21 years old, with her boyfriends Michael Smith and DeShaun Flournoy visited the Retreat at Johns Creek apartments on October 29, 2018, according to Johns Creek police. The group allegedly began exchanging gunfire as they approached Sims to buy marijuana.
Police say that while her body was still inside the car, Antoine drove it to a Lawrenceville area and set it ablaze. It was discovered on fire the following morning about 3:30.
Sims, Smith, and Flournoy were each charged with criminal murder. A month later, Smith and Flournoy turned themselves in, but Antoine was arrested in Wisconsin in 2019.
He allegedly left the fight’s scene and headed toward The Ellison apartments on North Roberts Road on Friday.
He had been jailed since 2019, according to court records from Fulton County, when his $275,000 bond was authorized in February. As a result of his failure to appear in court after being released from detention, he had an arrest warrant.
Sims was charged with criminal trespass, obstruction of law enforcement, and a warrant that was still active.
Antoine Sims Gets Arrested For Dispute Over Fries At McDonalds
On August 5th, Georgia police arrested Antoine Sims. An individual suspected of murder was apprehended after a scuffle over cold McDonald’s fries.
According to WSTV, Sims and the manager both claimed to have called 911 after getting into an argument and cursing at one another.
Police then questioned the proprietor of the restaurant. He demanded that Sims “fix my (expletive) dinner” after accusing Sims of throwing a drink at him.
Sims was asked to leave the property, and upon Sims’ refusal, the restaurant owner issued a criminal trespass ticket.
Officers later found Sam on bond with an active warrant for his arrest after they searched his name in a police database, according to the incident report.
Sims was then asked to sign a criminal trespass notice by the police after that. The Georgian refused to complete the paperwork and claimed he was afraid of it, despite the officer’s assurances to the contrary.
