Alex Rodriguez is single again.
Former Yankees minion has broken up with Texas-based Kathryne “Kat” Padgett, the sources tell us.
The insider says they are both still friendly, telling Page Six: “They’re good friends – they’re just single. They broke up, but they’re super tight. All is well.”
A source says since they broke up, “Alex is having a good time and spending time with his family.”
On Saturday, he was seen at a University of Miami soccer game with one of his daughters.
A-Rod also hinted that he is now solo when he posted a photo of the meal in front of the TV over the weekend on Instagram Stories with the caption “Dinner for One … playing the Yankees.”
The spy told us that Padgett has been “noticeably absent” from A-Rod’s clashes recently, with one source saying, “They have split up but remain great friends. He focuses on his family and business. “
Rodriguez, 47, and Padgett, 25, saw the Green Bay Packers soccer game together for the first time in January, and were spotted shortly thereafter watching the Minnesota Timberwolves, the NBA team that A-Rod co-owns.
The former MLB star and fitness contestant were seen in June in Italy engulfing the rays on a yacht in Italy. They also spent vacations in Ibiza, Spain with Rodriguez’s buddies Eric Decker and Jessie James Decker.
But sources have always said that the relationship between A-Rod and Padgett was not serious. An insider previously told Page Six, “Kathryne is a great girl, but they aren’t serious. They just meet. They are having a good time, that’s all.
Padgett was the first woman Rodriguez dated in public after breaking up in 2021 with ex-fiancée Jennifer Lopez – who then married her ex-fiancé, Ben Affleck.
Rodriguez, who is also the broadcaster of ESPN and FOX Sports’ Sunday Night Baseball, was at a game in Miami to see his team to win the season opening.
He is a board member of the school and has also created the eponymous annual scholarship fund, which has so far received 40 students and aims to make 100 more available to the school.
The courtyard of the Miami business school was also named after him. He helped renovate the university’s baseball stadium.
Rodriguez himself once accepted a football scholarship at the University of Miami but never attended school.
Instead, he signed with the Seattle Mariners as No. 1 in the MLB draft.
