Alexa PenaVega shares emotional update after stillbirth



Alexa PenaVega sensitively talks about her grief a month after the stillbirth of her daughter Indy.

Actress posted an emotional update on Instagram Wednesday to thank his followers for their “kind words and encouraging prayers.”

The 35-year-old began the video by warning social media users that she would “most likely cry” during filming.

The “Spy Kids” star, who shed tears in the video, opened up about the “most traumatic thing” she and her husband Carlos PenaVega have ever been through.

“I don’t think I’ve ever experienced anything like it and I hope I never experience anything like it again,” she said.

“Losing Indy was very difficult and immediately after losing her my health deteriorated significantly and no one could figure out what was wrong,” Alexa continued. “It was a very difficult season for all of us.”

The Hallmark star explained that despite being in “a lot of pain,” she also felt “crazy” peace.

“God truly met us in that place between pain and peace,” she said, before sharing how her daughter’s death “changed [her] entirely.”

Alexa explained: “Our family has never been stronger, our faith has never been stronger [and] our marriage has never been stronger.”

She noted that her marriage to Carlos PenaVega “has never been stronger.”
The couple has been married since 2014.

The “Ruby & the Rockits” actress has been married to Carlos, 34, since 2014, and the couple has son Ocean, 7, son Kingston, 4, and daughter Rio, 3.

Last month, the couple revealed the loss of baby No. 4 in hospital joint statement on Instagram.

“After a beautiful and peaceful birth, our daughter “Indy” was born peaceful,” they wrote in April. “This little girl has already changed our lives in so many ways. She was absolutely beautiful. And he looked just like dad. Dark hair and all.
