Amir Wilson is an English-Sudanese actor. He is best known for his roles in the HBO and BBC One series His Dark Materials as Will Parry, Dickon in the 2020 film adaptation of The Secret Garden, and the musical play The Lion King (2015). He is keenly attached to his hometown Shropshire and talked about it in his interviews also. At the age of just 17, Amir associates with British Heart Foundation, an organization that tries to help those people who are suffering from heart and circulatory disease in the UK. He was attached to this organization after his father’s sudden demise due to a heart attack.

Wilson was born to his parents on 6 February 2004, in Shrewsbury in the West Midlands, England.
For primary education, he went to St. Giles’ C of E Primary School, at South Mimms, England. Amir was interested in acting from her school days he was then selected for the role of Simba in the 2015 musical play ‘The Lion King’. Then he shifted to London to stay with her elder sister.
Later, he attended a film school. He can speak the Arabic language.
Amir holds the nationality of American and believes in religion Christianity.

Amir gave his first performance during school days in the play Wizard of Oz’ for the local theatre group Get Your Wiggle On (GYWO) as Munchkins in 2012.
In 2014 he starred in his next theatrical play ‘Seussical’ at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury, England.
After he performed in the play named ‘Beauty and Beast’.
In 2015 he starred in the musical play ‘The Lion King,’ staged at Lyceum Theatre, London as Simba which was his limelight role in his career.
