Angel Reese apparently attacked fellow WNBA star Caitlin Clark in a now-deleted X post.

After the Chicago Sky star and her team beat the New York Liberty On Thursday, Reese took to social media to celebrate the victory — with a bit of shade.

“and this is about winning in a crowded place (sic), not just thanks to one player on our charter flight. 😘 #SKYTOWN,” she wrote on Twitter, before deleting it on Thursday evening.

Reese’s tweet was apparently directed at Clark, whose band, Indiana Fever, had already done so failed to win so far this season.

The Co-owner of the DC Power Football Club he also mentioned the league booking charter flights for their teams’ 2024-2025 season, which is attributed to Clark’s hype.

Page Six reached out to Clark for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Reese’s tweet also comes after several current and former NBA stars, including LeBron James and Charles Barkley, paid tribute to Clark for her impact on women’s basketball despite her team’s losses.

“Don’t get it twisted! Don’t fuck it up,” the 39-year-old Los Angeles Lakers star he said on his “Mind the Game” podcast. Thursday.

“Caitlin Clark is the reason so many great things are going to happen in the WNBA,” he added.

“I’m rooting for Caitlin because I’ve been there before. I’ve been down this road before. I hope she kills!”

The friendly rivalry between Reese and Clark, both 22, began during their college basketball careers when they played at Louisiana State University and the University of Iowa, respectively.

During the 2023 women’s NCAA title game, Reese celebrated the Tigers’ fourth-quarter lead by waving her hand in front of her face – a gesture popularized by wrestler John Cena as “You Can’t See Me.”

She also tapped her ring finger, looking directly at Clark.

Although Reese was criticized as “classless” for the gesture, which Clark also made during her team’s Elite Eight victory over Louisville, she defended herself against those naive.
