Angelina Jolie shopping with her daughter, Brad Pitt’s time “limited”
Angelina Jolie spent time with her daughter Vivienne on Wednesday, as sources revealed Brad Pitt’s relationship with his ex-children is “strained” and “limited.”
The 47-year-old Maleficent star and her 14-year-old were spotted loading groceries from Lassens, Los Angeles, into the boot of their black SUV.
Jolie was wearing a white dress with a gray shawl and her hair was pulled back in an errand pony.
Meanwhile, Vivienne looked good in a Ben Platt concert jersey, gray sweatpants, a low bun, and a face mask to prevent contracting COVID-19.
The sighting came just a day after Jolie filed a new complaint against Pitt, 58, in which she claimed the “Fight Club” star had allegedly “strangled” one of their six children and “grabbed” and “shook” her into the infamous a trip on a private plane in 2016 which ended their marriage.
The Girl, Interrupted star claimed that their children – including Maddox, 21, Pax, 18, Zahara, 17, Shiloh, 16, and Vivienne’s twin, Knox – were “terrified” by the incident that took place in mid-flight from France to California after visiting the family castle.
“To date, everyone has not been able to return to Château Miraval due to its association with these traumatic events, including children who are now full adults,” Jolie’s lawyers said in court papers obtained by Page Six on Tuesday.
A Pitt representative said Wednesday, however, Page Six that Jolie’s new allegations were “completely untrue.” The award-winning actor was also cleared by the FBI after an investigation into child abuse in 2016.
Sources TMZ said Wednesday, the Tomb Raider star was running an “alienation campaign” which caused Pitt to have “limited and strained relationships” with his children.
Insiders also claimed that Jolie had “poisoned” the children to such an extent that the “Bullet Train” star had “little or no relationship to any of them.”
Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 – just six days after the plane incident, starting a custody war between her and her ex.
In May 2019, the judge ruled that “Mr. & Mrs. Smith ”shared custody of 50-50.
That same year, Maddox – the couple’s eldest child – gave a glimpse into his broken relationship with his father.
When asked by a reporter about the possibility of ending their relationship, the student replied, “Well, whatever happens will happen.”
Insiders had previously told Page Six that they thought Jolie was using Maddox as a pawn.
“Maddox appeared to be prepared for the interview,” the suspect source reported in September 2019.
“He did not try to push off the interlocutor – so industry folks think it may be Jolie’s Camp effort to stir up the situation, even though the situation was relatively calm.”
