Anne Heche died without a will, son Homer is seeking control over the estate

Anne Heche’s adult son asked for control of her estate after her untimely death in August.

Homer Laffoon filed a paperwork with the Los Angeles Supreme Court on Wednesday, asking him to be appointed administrator of the Six Days Seven Nights star’s property because she had not left a will.

Homer, 20, is also trying to have him designate an “ad litem guardian” over his 13-year-old brother Atlas by court, according to documents obtained by Page Six. Given that Atlas is a minor, Homer asked the court to revoke the bail that would be due.

It is noteworthy that Homer noted that the estimated value of the assets of the actress “Volcano” was “unknown”, so the property would have to be subject to judicial accounting.

A hearing in this case is scheduled for October 11.

Heche died on August 12 after driving her car into her home in Los Angeles and sustaining fatal injuries the week before. Prior to her death, Heche was subjected to CPR, even though she was dead, so that One Legacy could determine if she was fit for the organization. Eventually, her organs were donated.

“We have lost the bright light, the kind and joyful soul, a loving mother and a loyal friend. Anne will miss you very much, but she lives thanks to her beautiful sons, her iconic achievements and her passionate defense, ”the actress’s representative told us.

“Her courage to always stand by her truth, spreading a message of love and acceptance will continue to make a lasting impact.”

Following her death, the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner listed a fracture of the sternum caused by blunt trauma as a contributing factor to Heche’s death, which was adjudicated accidentally.
