Anne Heche’s Son Homer Breaks Silence on Her Death

Anne HecheyThe son shared an emotional message after the death of his mother.

“My brother Atlas and I lost our mother, her son Homer Laffon said in a statement to E! News. “After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I was left with a deep, speechless sadness.”

The actress, who was in a coma following a car crash in Los Angeles last week, died on August 12 at the age of 53.

Homer’s message continued, “Hopefully, my mom is freed from her pain and has begun to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.”

“In those six days, thousands of friends, family and fans shared their hearts with me,” added the 20-year-old, who Hechi shared with her ex-husband. Kohli Laffon. “I am grateful for their love, as well as the support of my dad, Kohli and stepmom. Alexei who continues to be my rock during this time.”

His message ended with “Rest in Peace Mom, I love you Homer.”
