Curry was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the seventh round of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft during his junior year. He agreed to play with the Indians, but he didn’t take the field right away.

Due to the COVID-19 epidemic that postponed the minor league season, he also missed playing in 2020. He made his professional debut in 2021.
