Ashley Tisdale discovers that “best friend” Austin Butler is her cousin

Ashley Tisdale keeps it in the family.

The ‘High School Musical’ alumna has discovered that Austin Butler – whom she has been friends with for the past decade – is actually her cousin after taking a DNA test.

Ashley, 37, described the then 31-year-old Butler as her “best best friend”.

Butler and Ashley first met in the 2011 film Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure where they played love lanes.

That same year, Butler was dating Ashley’s close friend Vanessa Hudgens. They separated after almost nine years of being together.
