Ashton Kutcher coaches kids for a 5K run after running the New York City Marathon
Start them young!
Just one week after actor Ashton Kutcher completed the New York City Marathon, he’s already looking to add two more to his team.
The 44-year-old is apparently already training his two children; daughter Wyatt, 8, and son Dimitri, 5, for 5K, according to his wife, Mila Kunis.
“Now they will start,” said Kunis, 39 People. “They want to run 5 km, and today he started training our kids to run. They ran half a mile today. It’s very cute.”
Kutcher was one of the big names — such as actress Ellie Kemper and former NFL player Tiki Barber — who took part in the race on November 6.
He finished in less than 4 hours while Kunis and their children cheered from the sidelines.
“He made it,” Kunis added. “He did great. It’s amazing that kids can watch their parents go through this because it’s not easy. It takes a toll on your body, so our kids could see him overcome it all. It was very cool.”
But while the other three members of her family run a lot, Kunis has noted that she won’t be following in her footsteps anytime soon.
“I can lie and say, ‘Absolutely! ”said the star of “The Happiest Girl Alive.” “But I’m not.”
Kutcher announced plans to run a marathon in August when he was partnering with Peloton Our Future Me Campaign..
Kutcher said he decided to enter the race to raise money and awareness and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his non-profit Thorn, which is building technology to protect children from sexual abuse.
Special guests included Kim Kardashian, Natalie Portman, Kenny Chesney and others, all of whom ran with Kutcher on the Peloton Tread.
