Bachelor in Paradise: why Romeo ended up in tears

This left Romeo scrambling to find his other half for the rest of the night, leading him to turn to the previously rejected Kira. During the one-on-one, Romeo admitted that he wanted to “save” what they had before. Kira, who had called Romeo “old news” earlier in the evening, took the confession warily.

“I’m having a hard time trusting you right now,” Kira replied. “I don’t appreciate the way you treated me, and I won’t be quick to forgive.”

However, she offered a sympathetic hug when Romeo broke down in tears on the beach.

Left with almost no options, Romeo poured his tears into a bar, where he admitted that he had “damaged some friendships”.
