Bachelorette star Erich Schwer has joined Gabby’s career season

Erich Schwer is back in hot water.

The reality show star – who is the finalist for the heart-fighting Gabby Windey in this season of “The Bachelorette” – allegedly joined the show to advance her career, reveal new text messages leaked by his ex-girlfriend Amanda Kaylor.

On Wednesday, Instagram account @ Bachelornation.scoop shared screenshots of alleged messages sent between Schwer and Kaylor in March 2022, just before the 29-year-old left to film a reality show.

“I know it’s not perfect, I wanted to do it to see if there was anything I could do with my life. I really like you, Amanda, ”Schwer allegedly wrote to Kaylor, whom he had met on Hinge two months earlier.

“I didn’t think it would be a big deal, but I understand how you feel. I’m sorry and I understand if you don’t want to see me anymore.

A conflicted Kaylor allegedly replied to the reality show star by saying, “You just expected me to continue dating while you attend the reality show to” find love? ”

Schwer allegedly replied, “It’s not real, but you’re right. I’m sorry I didn’t really think it through. “

Schwer then allegedly apologized to his then-girlfriend, saying that he “did not realize the consequences” of his decision and did not try to hurt her. The real estate agent said he made the decision to “figure out” who he was, adding that he needed a “change” feeling “stuck” on his career path.

Less than two weeks after Schwer allegedly dropped the bomb, he sent her a bouquet of flowers – ironically roses – before going to the show, hoping that Kaylor would “smile”.

The couple severed contact by the show’s premiere in July, two months after filming ended.

Schwer reportedly contacted his ex-girlfriend again, repeating how sorry he was before revealing that he was still thinking of her “all the time.”

However, Kaylor was not impressed with the apology and saw it as a way to “save himself from anything that might damage his newfound fame and reputation.”

After sharing the screenshot, Kaylor claims she wanted to “shed light on his true form” ahead of the “Angelic” finale and the “After the Final Rose” special.

Schwer has yet to respond to the latest allegations, and representatives of the reality show star and ABC have not responded immediately to Page Six’s request for comment.

Just last week, Schwer reacted to the opposition after a photo that reappeared in his high school yearbook portrayed him in a black face.

“I sincerely apologize for the callous picture of me in Blackface from my year of high school that is circulating. What I thought then was a representation of my love for Jimi Hendrix, it was just ignorance. ” wrote on Instagram about his picture in an afro wig and a colorful shirt with dark paint on his face.

The season finale of “The Bachelorette” aired on Tuesday, September 20 on ABC.
