‘Bachelorette’ star Erich Schwer opens up about Gabby Windey’s breakup
Following his (former) leading lady.
Erich Schwer finally addressed his breakup with Gabby Windey by telling his Instagram followers that “they were ultimately [sic] not your people.”
Just a day after the “Bachelorette” star candidly revealed that “they don’t go together very well,” Schwer repeated her statement.
“It’s hard when you don’t have one thing to put your finger on,” he wrote on Instagram on Tuesday in a white background.
“We met in a very unique situation and in a very unique way and I am grateful that we did. I would never take it back,” he said, adding that Windey is an “incredible person” and that he will “always root for her.”
Schwer, 29, has also apparently addressed his many controversies over the past few months, saying he has “learned and grown a lot this year from experience and mistakes” as he “is getting better every day”.
“I’m hoping to spend this time with my family and loved ones and focus on myself,” he remarked before teasing fans about future projects he was “working hard on.”
A former couple who got engaged on ABC’s hit dating show broke up after realizing they weren’t as much of a match as they thought.
“The end of our relationship came about because we weren’t completely aligned and in sync with each other in our shared goals or just the way we approach life,” ICU nurse told partner Val Chmerkovskiy on Monday’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars.”
Rumors of the breakup began to circulate last month when fans noticed that Windey was not wearing an engagement ring and Schwer stopped attending live recordings of a series of dance competitions.
While the former NFL cheerleader tried to dodge rumors by saying the two were “supporting from afar”, sources said E! News Otherwise.
“Gabby was hoping they would give each other space and work it out, but ultimately decided they had no future,” the source said, adding that Windey felt they “were not evenly matched and weren’t on the same page.”
