McLean flashed the peace signs while wearing the board shots in the reverse photo.

In newer shots, the singer “I Want It That Way” looked torn apart in mirror selfies taken during training.

“But the journey is not over yet,” he added. “This is just the beginning! #Healthy lifestyle # sober #nomoredadbod! Let’s go! If I can do it, you can too !!”

McLean, who has been in rehab and has come out of rehab since 2001, spoke at: “Recovering from reality” podcast about being a “chronic relapse” in January 2021

“I can do short bursts and everything is fine,” explained the Grammy Award nominee. “Even if I had a relapse, I wouldn’t have gone bending.”

McLean noted at the time that he “never went out for a month just to drink and party,” saying, “It was like one night and then I’m sober for a week or two. And then it’s one night. It was always back and forth. “

When the alum “Dancing with the Stars” appeared on Podcast “Not skinny, but not fat” the following year he revealed that he was almost 11 months sober.

“It wasn’t easy,” he said in July, crediting the coronavirus pandemic to help him recover. “That two-year hiatus when we all dialed me the right way. It gave me a chance to really think about it and really embrace it as [seriously] how it’s possible.”

McLean is focused on raising his two daughters – Elliott, 9 and Lyric, 5 – which he shares with his wife Rochelle McLean.

The couple, who married in December 2011, hit the headlines last month when they revealed their eldest child’s new name, and Rochelle explained that Ava’s swap “was not a gender issue.”

She explained: “Last year she asked us to start calling her Elliott and we got stuck. She wanted something special that no one else had. “
